The left’s confused message on terrorism

Originally posted on Facebook.

So the Left-wing is thoroughly convinced that Islam is the religion of peace and Christianity is the religion of war. I’m not kidding you at all. Right now, I’ve been noticing an alarming trend in the left-wing media, divert the Islam-terrorists by going after Christian terrorists. They have convinced the weak-minded liberal that all the Christian terrorists are representatives of Christianity. They think that one violent Christian represents all, meanwhile one violent Muslim DOESN’T represent all. Do I sense a double-standard here? Allright, let’s take a look at a list of how the left-wing sees terrorists:

  • Islamic terrorists aren’t Muslims, becuase Islam is the religion of peace, despite the fact that the Quran preaches violence (yes, I’m reading it, so I’m not just quoting Hannity or other right-wing pundits). Anyone who says otherwise is an Islamophobe.
  • Christian terrorists ARE Christians, and is a representative of all Christians. Christianity is a violent religion, always has and always will be. Anyone who says otherwise must think either a) that you lose your salvation or b) they are idiots who don’t understand Chrisitianity (They even tell that to Christians).
  • Since all Tea Partyists are Christians (yes, I know many liberals who actually think that), all Tea Partyists must be terrorists.

Now, let me explain something. Islam, as I mentioned above PREACHES violence. People who say otherwise obviously haven’t read the Quran or don’t care! I mean, just listen to Choudrey, what he said in his most recent interview with Hannity is the true Islam (http://www.israelvideonetwork.com/if-you-really-want-to-hear-the-truth-about-islam-listen-to-an-imam-who-isnt-politically-correct/), and true Islam ISN’T what this Islamic leader in my hometown said (http://wane.com/2015/01/09/local-islamic-leader-paris-terror-attack-was-cowardly/). I think Marco Polo said it best, “the militant Muslim is the person who beheads the infidel, while the moderate Muslim holds the feet of the victim.”

Now, about the Christians, yes, there are some violent Christians, but no they do not represent everybody. The thing is, the left has a serious double-standard here, they obviously do not care about consistancy, and only care about their war on Christians. The Bible, unlike the Quran doesn’t preach violence, it only allows violence when needed, like when Jesus cleared the temple. But, the times to be violent is rare, and Islam doesn’t have that distinction. They are told to kill anyone who doesn’t do everything exactly as some demon told them to do. Now, about not being a Christian if you’re violent. This is one I’ve seen the most. Sadly, Christians help push this narrative. Let me get something straight, Christians can be violent and be Christians, but most likely they aren’t mature Christians. I could commit genocide and destroy an entire race, and still be a Christian, but I’d be a VERY poor example of Christ, and not get much reward in Heaven. Thing is, the only thing that makes you lose salvation is when you deny Jesus, not be violent. And now, the final thing. They also like to push that Christians don’t understand their own religion. Sadly, I think they do have many of us here, many Christians DON’T really know what’s in the Bible, and those that are violent I think really do show that, but there are many of us who do understand the Bible and condemn these Christian terrorists and preach agaisnt needless violence.

Finally, this last argument by liberals is the stupidest of them all. All Tea Partyers are NOT Christians, there are plenty of non-Christian Tea Partyists. That’s as stupid as saying that all Tea Partyists are white people, they are not, it’s just that the liberal media likes to ignore the black Tea Partyers. Anyway, as I showed before, Christians are not a violent group, and since apparently all Tea Partyists are all Christians, we aren’t violent. Now, there are a few boneheads out there. This weekend a few Tea Partyists reportedly tried to do some domestic terrorism (http://www.northwestgeorgianews.com/rome/news/local/rome-men-now-face-domestic-terrorism-charge/article_9c2bd03e-9512-11e4-bbb8-b73fb9e6e225.html), and do you know what? I, and I’m pretty sure many other Tea Partyists will condemn what they did. They are not representatives of the Tea Party, only idiots who just want a revolution.

Anyway, we need to make it clear to people more that Christians and Tea Partyists AREN’T violent, and when some boneheads do get violent, we will be ready to condemn their acts if what they did is actually wrong.

Opinion: Sony hackers are Middle East terrorists

Unless you’ve been living under a rock the past week, you probably know that Sony’s been getting hacked by someone called the GOP, which stands for Guardians of Peace. Well, this Guardians of Peace decided to stop being so peaceful because they promised terror attacks on any theater that plays the controversial movie “The Interview” which is a comedy about an assassination attempt on North Korea’s dictator. So, it is the popular belief that North Korea is the one hacking Sony over this film. But, after these terrorist threats, I’m very skeptical. Right now, that seems to be against North Korea’s goal. Their dictator has recently been charged with crimes against humanity by the international court and he is doing everything in his power to make him and his country look good. He even had a website put up to encourage to tourism. So, to do this would only enforce the look that he’s evil. Then, to threaten a terrorist attack, and around Christmas as well. ISIS threatened to do a terrorist attack around Christmas. This would serve as a great way to strike terror into American’s heart and a base for a terror attack. I really think it’s more likely that this was done by a Middle-East terrorist group than North Korea.

Worst conservative news blogs

Here are the worst conservative news blogs of the year.

Newsmax logoNewsmax

Newsmax to me feels like they’re a New York Times wannabe. I’m sorry, but that’s what I feel like. It’s a site that will keep you informed, (somewhat) and they do go off the gird quite a bit giving you facts you won’t see anywhere else, but they are extremely biased towards Donald Trump (it honestly feels like that he’s their Lord and Savior) and their articles are generally rather bland. Not really all that interesting of a site.

Forbes logoForbes

While there’s no doubt that Steve Forbes is a very conservative man, his site doesn’t very often reflect his views, in fact, it’s very liberal. They have often praise Obamacare, and Obama. Let’s not forget them pushing that GMO’s are good for you (they aren’t) and that the economy’s great and often times trying to demonize the Keystone XL Pipeline. If you want good Conservative business news, I recommend Fox Business.

Instapundit logoInstapundit

Instapundit is pretty much what it sounds like, a lot of punditry and very little real news. Seriously, if you want news, go somewhere else, you won’t find it here. It’s just a site of a few people writing pundit type articles.

Right Wing News logoRight Wing News

Right Wing News is a lot like Instapundit except that they are actually capable of posting actual news. But, its still pretty much just a bunch of pundits and people adding lots of speculation into stories and a lot of non-news. Like Instapundit, if you want real news, don’t go looking for it here.

Later, the best conservative news blogs.

Best liberal news blogs of the year

Here are the best liberal news blogs of the year.

ReutersReuters

This is a site that I get a lot of my news from, and do you know why? They actually have news, and high quality news. Sure, sometimes you do have to be wary of their articles (especially ones on Obamacare and their sports articles, which are almost always pieces of trash) but are generally very reliable. Yes, they do tend to lean liberal on controversial issues, but if you can get past that you have a rather reliable news source.

NBC News logoNBC News

This site isn’t generally the most reliable news site as it is rather liberal biased, but you will find some high quality news articles and stories that you won’t likely find anywhere else. This site I also get a lot of news from. While it is a pretty good site, be sure to read their articles carefully, as they are known to be biased and are famous for doing almost anything at times to push their agenda.

ABC News logoABC News

This site is a lot like NBC, except slightly more reliable. It’s isn’t quite as biased as NBC and in my experience rarely goes to all lengths to push their agenda (a few times they did would be Obamacare, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Trayvon Martin). You also see a lot of stories you won’t see anywhere else. Sadly though, it doesn’t quite have quite as many high-quality news articles as NBC has though, that is one place they fall short. It is still a rather good liberal news source.

Al Jazeera America logoAl Jazeera America

This news blog, which is generally only known as the butt of everyone’s jokes when it comes to news sources is surprisingly reliable and unbiased. Pretty much the only thing that makes them liberal is the topics they cover and that their opinion pieces are liberal. Their reporting though, very unbiased. Sure, every now and then I run across a piece of biased reporting, but when I do I’m rather shocked because they are generally very unbiased in reporting. This is a rather good news source that I get a whole lot of news from.

Tomorrow, worst and best conservative news blogs.

Worst liberal news blogs of the year

These are the worst liberal news blogs I’ve read this year. Later today, I’ll do the best liberal news blogs I’ve read this year, but here are the worst:

Daily Kos logoDaily Kos

Hands down the worst I’ve ever read to this point is “Daily Kos.” In idea, it’s a great place for people to go for news, as it isn’t just a small group of journalists getting a few news stories and missing out on many others. But, in practice, it’s not. First off, the people writing for Daily Kos most likely have no journalism experience so expect a whole lot of articles that really have nothing to do with news or people just taking articles from other sites and then just adding their own commentary to them (often times without citing sources). Also, the people who run the site don’t have very high standards. Very little on the site is actual news, and most of it is just people spewing out hatred for right-wingers and their families (I’m quite serious). Plus, there is awful grammar and spelling (how hard is it to capitalize the “I” when speaking about yourself. Or making a distinction between “to,” “too,” and “two?”). I know I may not have the best grammar or spelling, (quite a few people have complained to me about it), but even most articles on Daily Kos make me cringe. The worst there is, hands down.

Salon.logo.OUTLINESSalon

Salon isn’t a whole lot better than Daily Kos, in fact, it’s very similar to it. Salon, unlike Daily Kos doesn’t let just anyone write for them, they have a staff of “journalists” who write the articles for the site. But, like Daily Kos, very little of it is actual news, and whole lot of it is spewing out hatred of Republicans and Tea Party.

Truthout logo

Truthout

This site, unlike Salon and Daily Kos isn’t mainly a hate site, they actually do some news. Sure, it is mainly opinion articles and news analysis, but at least it isn’t reeking of hatred of Conservatives. But, very poorly-informed (or possibly purposely leaving out facts) articles plague the site. It’s not really worth reading. If you want to get a good grip on what the left’s opinion is on something, then please, go ahead and read articles on this site, but if you want to see what is popular in the left-wing news cycle, just wait for my article on best left wing news sites.

Mother Jones logoMother Jones

A self-described investigative news site, it becomes quite clear for any well-informed person that they almost always leave out vital facts, especially when it comes to climate change and our justice system. There is nothing investigative about Mother Jones, the only thing they seem to investigate is the stuff George Soros re-gurgitates. I don’t even bother to check out what they are reporting anymore, not worth my time.

Later, you’ll get to read about liberal news sites that are worth your time reading and possible getting actual news from.

Best movies I saw this year

Well, it’s getting late, and I need to get to bed soon (got to get pretty early tomorrow morning) and so I’m just going to post the posters of the best movies I saw this year and leave out the reviews. It may have been first-time seeing, or films I’ve seen before this year, but these are the best I saw this year. Tomorrow I’ll post the worst and best liberal news blogs.

Gandhi Master and Commander Mighty Ducks 2 Life of Pi Letters from Iwo Jima How to Train Your Dragon Rise of the Guardians Monsters U

Best movies of 2014

Allright, before I list the best movies from 2014, I would like to announce the worst movies I saw this year. I meant to do it in a different blog post, but WordPress crashed and it was deleted. Didn’t want to redo it, so here are the worst I saw this year:

So now, here are the best movies I saw that were released this year:

LEGO Movie

LEGO Movie

This was a work of art. Awesome story, with surprising twists, but with an unfortunately annoying song that gets stuck in your head everytime you hear. But, I can overlook that one song they played the entire time for how fun the film is. While it is the traditional animated movie with the message that you are worth something, they do it in a new way, in way different story than normal. If for some reason you haven’t seen it yet, I would encourage it. It’s not just a kid’s film, it’s got some humor for the kids, but then has the jokes for the older people in the audience. It’s a wonderful film, I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

The next one is “How to Train Your Dragon 2,” but you can read that review on this blog post.

When the Game Stands TallWhen the Game Stands Tall

This film I also loved. I just saw it last Friday, and personally, it was worth the wait until it came out on Redbox (that’s pretty much how I see all the new films). It’s the story of a high school football team who won 151 games straight, and then things started going bad. One of the departing seniors gets shot to death, the coach nearly dies, and they lose. But, the story isn’t about them losing and how they started winning again, it’s about their attitude, and their faith in God. It is a Christian film, but one that doesn’t scream “This is a Christian film!” It’s a great movie, I highly recommend it. I also give this 5 out of 5 stars.

Moms Night Out

Mom’s Night Out

This one I saw the Friday before Mother’s Day, a.k.a Opening Day. The reason I went to the theaters to see it was because I brought my mom (along with dad and sisters) to see it as a Mothers Day present. We all loved it. It’s funny, for my mom it was moving, and touching. All of us had something we liked in it. Jokes about biker gangs, grown men playing video games like juveniles, men using Pinterest, and tazers grace this film. It’s wonderful. Once again, I’m giving it 5 out of 5 stars.

Mr Peabody and ShermanMr. Peabody and Sherman

This is my favorite of all the films on this list. Targeted more for those who grew up with the cartoon (I didn’t), it is still a film the entire family will enjoy. It’s has the crude humor the children will laugh at, and it has the jokes only the older ones in the audience will laugh at (“I’m walking here!” and Bill Clinton saying “I’ve done worse!”). Oh, and don’t worry, Mr. Peabody’s puns that are so lame they’re funny are back (You can’t eat your cake and “edict” too). It’s a great film, and one of the best I’ve seen. I bought it on DVD a few months ago, and I’ve watched it quite a few times since, I love it even more every time I see it. I give it 5 stars out of 5.

Later today, Best movies I saw this year. Tomorrow, worst liberal news blogs.

Worst movie of 2014

Ok, first off, I am not an official movie reviewer, I haven’t seen all the films that came out this year, but out the ones I’ve seen, this was the worst (quite coincidentally, it was the only bad movie I saw that came out this year):

Gods Not Dead

Allright, now, before you close out the link to this blog post and dismiss me as a militant atheist, let me explain a few things:

  1. I am a Christian
  2. I am a Christian who did not like this movie
  3. Seriously, this movie was a horrible example of Christianity

I’m not going to give you the full list of complaints. I did that to my family and they fell asleep, but here is a shortened lists of complaints:

  • The kid the movie revolves around is a miserable example of a Christian, staring and shouting down his professor, and being cocky. Yeah, GREAT witness! Everyone is flocking to you to get to Heaven. NOT. Sorry, but nobody would want to be a Christian if they saw that kid do what he did.
  • The professor was so over-the-top cartoonish it was embarrassing. Yes, militant atheists can be extremely insane, but I have yet to meet any person that crazy.

I have to give this film 2 out of 5 stars. That is, 1 star for each Newsboy’s song played.

Culture and Police

So, as you most likely (and hopefully) know, right now, the biggest story in the nation is police and their shooting and arresting people. The mainstream media and the people who go to the MSM for all their news believe that all policemen (and women) are evil and want to take away our rights. Hopefully, you and I are smart enough to know this isn’t true. Sure, there are bad cops out there, but at least right now there are more good cops than bad cops. But, the MSM doesn’t see it this way, and neither does Hollywood.

So, if ABC, CBS, and NBC weren’t bad enough when it comes to mis-informing their viewers about cops, Hollywood takes it to a whole different level. They GLORIFY being bad and disobeying authority. First, let’s start with glorifying disobeying cops. One of  the best example of this is “Orange is the New Black.” In the show, they glorify being put into prison, and make it sound like a good thing. Oh, and don’t forget about “Breaking Bad.” The entire plot of the show is making a life of crime sound like a good thing. That’s the entire series for you in a nut-shell.

But, it runs deeper than just teaching people not to respect cops, it all starts with children’s TV. That’s right, children’s TV. They are experts at teaching kids not to obey parents, but, oh don’t worry, it’s always “justified.” Justified meaning that they always make the parents evil, cruel, heartless people, and so the child MUST disobey them. Examples include the Disney Pixar film “Brave” and  “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Just as a side-note: Disney, in my experience, has been the greatest offender of teaching kids to disobey authority.

Thing is, the entire culture is teaching people to disobey authority, and the consequences of that are showing. Just look at Michael Brown and Eric Garner, they most likely would not be dead right now if they hadn’t resisted arrest. But why did they do that? Culture. It’s what the MSM and Hollywood is teaching us.

Now, am I saying everything is completely our current culture’s fault? No. The police does need some reforming and a bit more accountability, but I would argue that the thing that needs the most reforming and accountability isn’t the police, but us and how we view the authorities. If we can do that, maybe, and hopefully, we won’t have so many Michael Brown’s and Eric Garner’s.

Why I oppose executing Scott Panetti

Originally published on Biblical Worldview Daily:

So Texas is going to execute Scott Panetti tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7 p.m. EST. This man is a delusional killer. He has some serious mental problems, but Texas will kill him anyway. Most people are angry he will be killed because they say it is morally wrong. Heck, I say different, if you kill someone, it shouldn’t matter whether you are sane or insane, you need to go. But, instead, I’m not supporting his execution. I’m not opposing it because it’s “morally wrong,” no, because I think this sets a dangerous precedent. Just think, someday, when it is morally acceptable to execute someone that is insane, do you think executions will be limited to “because you murdered someone?” No, I am thinking “Atheists already see Christians as insane, so won’t they use that on Christians?” I don’t see how it is out of the question. Or, even if not Atheists, if ISIS takes over America, they can use that to say “hey, Americans have no problem with it, let’s execute those mentally insane Christians.” It could happen. So, that’s why I don’t support executing Scott Panetti.
